Is anyone a/in contact with a Police or Military K-9 dog handler?

I'm a dog bather right now, I worked at a kennel for 8 months, and I've been training my pit bull to be a Canine Good Citizen/Therapy dog, so I've really had my share of experience for 19.

This seems like a possible career for me once I get out of college. Anyone have any stories/encounters with these officers of the law?
