We just found this puppy recently and I've been trying to figure out what mix of animals this little girl is. she looks like a golden retriever at first glance but shes got little wrinkles all over her face and stuff.

Part Shar pei makes sense, I didn't think of that! I was thinking pug but she seems kind of big compared to a pug (course it could just be the labrador part).

That'd be my guess, except her fur looks a bit longer so I'd say Sharpei/Golden Retriever rather than Lab.

Shape of the ear + face (the way the eyes are set in relation to each other, specifically. Also the wrinkles) looks like a Sharpei. The legs+paws as well.
The body shape looks definitely like a retriever or lab, and the fur color, texture, and length as well. Her tail too.

Then again you may have to wait until she's a bit older to really tell. Whatever she is, she's a cutie.

What kind of SharPei do you play with? Her ears are way too big to be like a SharPei. If they are thicker feeling then maybe it could be. Hell it could be a Lab Chow cross too, because chows tend to have wrinkles as well.

Release the puppy back into the wild. It's where they belong. Otherwise, it'll die of stress and malnutrition as all dogs do in the care of humans.

Refer to pic. See how the triangular shaped ears are flopped to the front? OP's pup's ears are of the same nature.

hey, well, you definitely know more than me.

we'll probably keep her, but we've put found dog signs around, just in case someone lost her. she was in a field/empty lot area that a lot of dogs seem to hang around in though, so we think she might have just been born there and lost her mom somehow.

no name yet, other than "puppy". any suggestions? all i can think of are lame fanboy names like "emma" and "sheena" and "namorita", ha.

she's pretty rowdy, but i suspect it's because she's teething and/or hates stuffed ducks. she follows me around everywhere i go, which is pretty cute.

Im a dog breeder and by the look of the picture she could be a mix between and Labrador and a Shar pei. Then again, she could also be other things depending on her pesonality and what she does to entertain herself. For example, if she digs alot, she could have some breed of digger in her aswell.
