I'm about to move in with a friend, and he wants to get a dog. We are both moving to an apartment, in the middle of the city, near our college. We both prefer something big that way we don't seem gay and it could guard our shit from niggers trying to break in (We've moving to Detroit).

How retarded would it be for lazy jackasses like us to get a dog? We need something that doesn't need a lot of space, and could be fine with just the daily walk instead of a yard to play in. I doubt any bigger dogs are good for this kind of environment though...but just thought I'd get some opinions.
