I got this weird thought that female excersise less than the male, while the female spends more time at home etc..

Lets take an example, I'm gonna pick a dog, say, Australian Shepherd, then train it. Would the female be less-wanted to do so than the male?

They are the same.
Christ. Look at wolf behavior. Both males and females participate in the hunt. Gender will not dictate how the animal listens to you. Unless the dog has come to hate male, or female, humans from abuse in the past, they will treat you, and behave, NO DIFFERENTLY....

It is generally agreed upon that males are more dominant, aggressive, and headstrong.

Females are gentler, more passive and more eager to please.

There are many exceptions though.

Go tell any bully/guard dog/giant breeder that you are a first time dog owner and that you want one of his dogs. He will tell you to get a female first. That should tell you all you need to know.
