I rescued a kitten I found on the side of the road. It was pretty frightened, it was raining, and it looked like it was trying to decide when to cross the street, so I was pretty certain it was going to get mashed. There aren't really any dedicated animal shelters around here and none of my neighbors are animal lovers, I'd wager. Cats get abandoned on the roadside by families just for being female, it seems.

Anyway, what should I do with it?
