Do people actually make donations to websites that people make for their sick animals? One of my papillons is doing really horribly lately, has a mystery neurological condition that the first neurologist couldn't deal with and didn't know what it was, and now we're off to the 2nd neurologist at UPENN this week. MRI and CT scans start at $1500. I've spent over $600 already on bloodwork and meds and specialist visits. I'm a vet tech but don;t have a lot of extra money to spend on this.....so I'm thinking of setting up a blog with his progress, videos of his "episodes" and everything...and a donation thing. Would this even work or am I wasting my time..? He's such an awesome dog and is so sick...it's breaking my heart :( It would be totally legit and very obvious that he's sick from the youtube videos I have of his condition, so I don't think people would think I'm scamming them.

So....good idea or not?
