How do you get rid of- bed bugs?

We found out we had them a month ago and got an exterminator to come into our small one room apartment to exterminate the fuck out of them.

There were no noticable bites for a whole month until, last night.
I woke up this morning to find 4 bites in a line down my leg.

i dont know where thye're coming from as the exterimnators put an encasing around the matress. What sucks is that we have to wash everything again (using dryer for long periods amount of time for the cleaner clothes)

/an/ do you have any war stories that end up victorious? any tips or guidance for beating these things? or do we just kept spraying them and hope for the best.
