what kind of bird is this? the picture was taken 5 minutes ago in northern British Columbia. all the birds here are usually shit colored and boring.

this is getting retarded. the only similar bird i can find is from mexico the Yellow Grosbeak which doesn't migrate but had been found in Arizona.

not a bid deal, you have some nice birds in that area, I wish we had bohemian waxwings where i lived. Oh well I have some red tailed hawks and a pair of pileated woodpeckers nesting in my backyard.
