There was someone asking this question about two weeks ago. I remember a few of the suggestions--freshwater puffers, snakeheads (they're probably illegal in your area, and for good reason)... Note that anything too vicious will try to break the glass and then you have a dead fish on your hands.

I thought I might get this response. No, it's kind of hard to explain. I really have no intention of putting any animal in the tank but feeder fish, and though to a degree it saddens me when animals die, I LOVE watching animals hunt and kill. It's just one of those things that has always fascinated me.

Could you guys list some reptiles/amphibians of the same description I gave in the OP?Preferably reptiles/amphibians that can swim, but others will do fine.

Get either a crocodile monitor, or a rock python.
Make sure they were wild caught.
