Any advice on how to use TrueCrypt properly? I have read a lot about it already, but I dont know if its safest to make a file container or to encrypt a partition/drive, or it doesnt matter, and which encryption and hash algorithm are the best ones

Also, how safe is it? is it possible to access a file that was encrypted with that?

I want it to hide my... private files
