Dale Gribble turned off the TV in his basement and looked out the tiny window. The Texas sky was beautiful, sunny and bright. Birds chirped in the peaceful serene ambiance, and somewhere Dale could hear the sounds of children laughing at a playground.
“Damn commies,” he murmured.
Dale pulled out his laptop and began to look through pictures of supposed aliens he had taken with his bug cam. They were pictures of John Redcorn. Pictures of John Redcorn hanging up his laundry, chopping firewood shirtless behind his trailer, washing in the shower, the soap covering his glistening red skin.
“Show yourself, spaceman,” Dale muttered through the haze of his cigarette smoke.
