Finally a movie that follows Ed from the animated series "Ed, Edd, and Eddy."
It uncovers Ed's truly intelligent brain and his utter generious, under is "oafish" exterior. It follows him through his secret life as a government intelligence agent, positioned in a cul-de-sac, under his guise of idiocy and the stress, depression, and near suicide of a wonderful, more unknown, American hero.
Eventually his depression drove him insane, in addition to a hit and run which resulted in a head injury, and he became the character he would always act as, which is the Ed we all love and relate to today.
