So, no one of brains has posted yet (or at least, posted nothing of merit), so i will clear up a few things:
Freeze treatments do not kill the wart; they irritate the surrounding skin, causing the body to pay more attention to the area. freeze treatments are not always effective. sometimes repeated treatments help, and sometimes they do nothing. The next step is Aldara cream (or some analogue thereof). Again, this does not kill the wart, it is a chemical attempt to get the body to do its job.
If you are doing home surgery, your best bet is to go on the Tubes and see if any other moran a) has the same problem and b) tries to fix it. Learn from others mistakes. ALSO, read faggots. it is not that hard and there are thousands of folks who go into great detail about anything and everything.
In regards to plantar fasceitus and/or Papiloma virus and home treatment, i have found that you should by the cheap-ass Q-tip knock offs that have a clear, blue shaft betwixt the balls

of cotton. with scissors, clip one ball off (RIP halfsac). the little tube fits nicely into the dust off bottle or on the end of the red tube that came with it (i stick it straight in, because it feels better that way).

Turn the bottle over (top towards ground) and lightly depress the trigger. Watch in awe of science as the super cold liquid saturates the cotton tip. stop spraying. press the cotton tip to the wart. hold for 30ish seconds. remember, you are not trying to kill it; you are trying to agitate it.
