I have a few stories about a teacher I'll call Mr. R. You see, Mr. R was like 26 and a super chill dude, he taught freshman english and he's probably the coolest teacher I have ever had and I'm 20 now.

He was pretty much a bro but everyone in my class treated him like shit and we drove him to drink and quit teaching. It was only his second year of teaching and I think he ended up becoming a lawyer. so yeah, I'll just start posting stories

That was honestly the most fun I had ever had in school besides when I took AP Chem and we spent everyday playing Quake. Still to this day if me and my friends get together no matter what we will end up talking about Mr. R.

I'm pretty sure he moved to new york to become a lawyer after that year, I never got to see him again.

I had a teacher with this kind of program, too. We had a whole IT building, all computers on the same network, all teachers with this program.

Teacher is the school's main networking dude. Unjoined a computer from the network, installed a keyframe recorder, stole the guy's password when he used it to join the network again. God mode.

I used his version of the program to randomly lock the internet for whole classrooms. The teachers got "This computer has been hacked" pasted on their screens before I shut their machines down. They kept running back to my teacher, claiming they'd got a virus.

His Active Directory rights let me play with the central server, which I used to host gigabytes of movies, games, music, warez, and porn. His rights apparently extended over the entire school district, so I logged in and had every printer spewing pages of garbage and insults.

I created a few other god-tier accounts and distributed them to anyone I felt wouldn't ruin it. Mostly we used it to watch movies or listen to music in boring classes, streaming from the server, play CS:Source, or circumvent the lame internet proxy.

After graduation, smoked cigars and drank with said teacher and a few friends from the class. Apparently he knew all along, and didn't mess with it. He said something like "someone usually figures it out" - like having the district's network to play with was just a perk of being in IT.

Quit the field a few years ago, but I learned more messing around than I ever did in class.

I did create a virus, which I left on his computer at graduation, spamming IE windows which launched waves of popups every time the system started, till it crashed. A year later he ran into me at the store and griped about it, and I had to show him where I'd hidden it in the registry.
