Anyway, garb-garb. Too many sources to mention, from simple stuff you can make yourself to fancy garb that would make a Tudor drool. Again, you want to look for stuff that lasts. Re-enactment shops > Ren Faire ones in many cases/LARP shops >>> anything from a Halloween costume place. Halloween costume stuff is shit tier for LARPing in most cases- it'll start to fall to pieces before the first event is over.
I really, really prefer to get my hands on stuff I'm going to buy vs. ordering it online from a shop when it comes to actual clothing. Especially when it's small runs of garb, like many Faire costumers do. Or find a decent costumer and work with them to make what you want from scratch- it's a good deal cheaper if you supply fabric. Again, remember- comfort, outdoor-friendly matter.

And simple, solid-colored baggy sweats don't make bad starter LARP pants, especially tucked into a set of boots with a simple tunic over them. Wrap pants are simple and look good as well.
