Awesome wigs thread?

They don't have to be over the top either, just wigs that were styled very very well. I know this person used to name/trip here a while back, just found their dA a few days ago and fell in love with their wigs.

I'll post what all I have.

Thank you. I realized that the odango was too big after I put the whole thing together, and I ran out of hair to fix it/make new odango's. But it does look better on a person's head since the wighead makes them seem even larger in proportion.
As for that commissioner's review on Coscom. It was my fault for lack of communication as I was busy and was going through some rough time with family issues..but I don't want to make anymore excuses than necessary. To be fair, she gave me as much headache as she claimed I did her. I offered to give her a full refund many times because I didn't want to deal with her anymore. At the end, I did send the wig, and she did get it before the con. I still don't get the payment for shipping fee that she said I "didn't mention about it before" even though we talked and agreed on it since I sent her the wig quote. And she's the main reason I'm closing wig commissions to the public permanently after this September, so.

Wow, not their best work is an understatement. That's a piece of shit, and you'd best believe I'd be raging if I got that in the mail.

The commissioner should have been the better man and just canceled the order. If you don't have the time and mental energy to keep up on business correspondence, you don't have the time and energy to make a wig - as evidenced by the POS the commissionee got.

However, just because something is better than what the commissionee can do doesn't necessarily make it good, unlike what >>4751034 thinks. The wig looks pretty fried and the bangs look messy despite the volume, so I wouldn't have been happy as I said.

HOWEVER, sonteen did say she tried to just give the girl her money back.

To everyone that have asked, I'm not closing commission business because of one bad experience. It contributes to it but the other reason is that I want to have more time to work on my own cosplays and also my illustration/drawing stuff. Thank you for your compliments and insight on my works. That Rapunzel Hurrr.
Since then I remade my wig, but in all honesty... my old wig stayed on with just bobby pins, and the new one stays on without any thing... no pins... no spirit gum. It just kind of... defies gravity. The weight stretches the wig cap so with my huge head it just made the wig cap fit better.

Pinned to a wig head inside a box that is JUST big enough to fit it. That way it cannot shift. Add packing peanuts or something else soft that will help with bumps and shifting.

I have a similar question. I actually own this wig >>4744408 and I'm bringing it to Otakon which is an 8 hour car ride. I'm a bit worried about the wig getting really hot and having the glue/hairspray melt.

I'm thinking of covering it with a box to shade it from the sun and possibly throwing some ice packs in with it to keep it cool? Anyone have experience with long road trips and styled wigs?
