>>1433306I don't think clueless_case is indeed that fat. She fits into most of the clothes (unless she alters them then in which case, ignore what I say, lol), but I seem to remember that she is also quite TALL and seems to have a bigger bone structure which may add to her looking a bit 'chubby' if you will.
>>1433695Have you tried a Japanese medium? I fit into them just fine and I'm 5'7 130lbs. Which is, HUGE compared to Japanese girls. When I lived there, I thought I was a huge gaijin and it made me feel pretty horrible sometimes, but when I passed by mirrors and reflections with my Japanese school friends (I was in HS then and a wee bit shorter) I didn't look all that much bigger than them, honestly.
Yeah, they were shortert, but I think it's perspective. I don't understand why people can't figure out that it's your GENETICS that make up how heavy/small you will be in life.
I am a German. We tend to be slim where I'm from because there is an emphasis on good food and hrm, how would you put it, market style where you get your veg and meat fresh and we didn't have many fast food when I grew up, but most Germans have strong bone structure so that makes me heavier in pounds but I'm techincally the the same size (in terms of clothes) as a Japanese girl who weighs about 115lbs.
I wish weight wasn't such an issue all the time. In Lolita especially. It bums me out when all my friends can talk about is fitting into brand.
I feel extremely grateful I don't have to worry about sizing and just can order brand clothes I like.
