hey /cgl/

Does anyone know where to get cheap purple contacts? I know where I can find some on the internet for about 50 bucks, but it's out of my price range. I need something closer to 30.

pic related, it's me if I had purple contacts rather than photoshop.

Apply some purple-colored nail polish over your pupils. It gives you same effect, and washes out easily with nail polish remover.

Look OP, most contacts come in 1 size, unless you have a REALLY strange eye, or unless you are going to get those. Ahh what are they called, kipi-san wears them...

I think circle lenses... Those are the larger ones. If you need to know the size, I will tell you the size on mine, as I wear clear ones.

As far as I can tell, you don't have any eye deformities lol.

I've never used this site but their contacts are cheap.
DIA is diameter of your iris but I can't remember what BC was and I have no idea how relevant "water content" is.
I found out about my DIA and BC when I bought regular contacts for the first time. The guy at the store measured everything besides prescription when picking out contacts for me. You could try going to a store that sells contacts and ask if you can just receive that service without buying them.
It's pretty important to buy contacts that fit your eyes, otherwise you may damage your eyes and the contacts will be uncomfortable anyway.

You an find contacts all over the internet. If you're looking for some that aren't online, try beauty supply stores. They sometimes have them. I know one in Orange and one near Costa Mesa that do. Even then, you're looking at about $25-50 and they will rip with more than 2-4 wears. I speak from experience.

Yeah, I know there are stores around here that are owned by mostly korean women who sell all kinds of contacts, usually for about 15 bucks that I get. Those don't come in many colors though, but the brown and blue ones I have don't hurt my eyes, I didn't need an optometrist appointment, and they were cheap. So I know I can get cheap lenses that wont make me go blind. Thanks though for the help. As for the circle lenses, I have some of them too, but they're pretty expensive when it comes to having to pay shipping and the fact that the size of them makes them more expensive than contacts that are the same size as your normal eye. I think I payed about 50 when I got my pair and with the economy, that's out of my range. :|

OP here. Since /cgl/ was able to help me out with purple contacts, I thought you also might know where to find pink contacts? And not the block kind, or the expensive banshee kind that are for pros only or some shit like that, but some nice natural looking pink contacts? As natural as having pink eyes could be that is. I wear contact lenses for correction, and I can tell you that anyone who says contacts come in only one size is fucking retarded.

There are two measurements for contacts, diameter, and base curve. Base curve is more important than diameter. It's basically the curvature of your eye, if this is off by even a little bit the contacts will irritate your eyes and may not even stay in.

Furthermore, it is ILLEGAL to dispense contacts without a prescription, even if your eyesight is perfect (plano lenses), specifically because you need to get them sized. If a place doesn't ask for a prescription, DON'T BUY FROM THEM, they could be selling cheapo lenses that will damage your eyes.
