So I was planning on making a cosplay for Tsugaru from Beatmania IIDX. I don't really have too much experience with making a complex costume like hers, but I do have help with it, so I'm willing to do whatever to make it look good. I was hoping /cgl/ could help me a bit.

What type of fabric would be best for this? I know that most people have used vinyl, and if I have to I will, but I'd rather not have to walk around feeling like I'm wearing plastic all day.

And would using Cosplaywig's grass green wig be good for this? Her hair isn't exactly neon green like C.C's, and I'd be able to trim it to the proper length then use the trimmed hair to make the pigtails more full.

What does /cgl/ think?
