I'm planning on doing this costume for ACen come May.

I will have to get a wig, though, which is throwing me for a bit of a loop. I'll come right out and admit I'm a newfag at serious cosplay, so I'm not exactly sure where the best places to get a wig that I could mod for this.

Would it be better to buy a regular wig and style it, and if so, what kind of wigs are able to stand up to curling irons and such?
