If you go to her website, which I provided in the first post, she has her calculation rates for US dollars.

Here's a picture of the wig just opened on a wighead. I have yet to touch it or straighten it out or make it look nice, just wanted an "IN THE MOMENT" picture

The seller, by the way, also sent out these wigs on Thursday of last week. Today is Tuesday, they just arrived.

I used DHL and the DHL driver actually knocked on my door several times because he knew someone was home and I refused to answer the door. I was very thankful. I wasn't aware the wigs would arrive that soon.

Not OP, but there are two doorbells directly next to one another at my place - mine and my neighbors. No matter how many times we tell his friends/family that his is the lower doorbell, they always ring ours, so we usually don't bother to answer it, though if I'm near the door I often will just go and open the inner door for them and walk away.

Just keep shipping costs in mind. we made a large Fantasy Sheep order and shipping was craaaazy. Still, totally cost per wig shipped came out to about $16-18.

Though I still haven't gotten them after they were *supposed* to have shipped on the 10th. No email replay either.

Still 7 wigs for $143 + Shipping is way better then what my friends and I were paying for a shopping service and fantasy sheep. Cant wait to see the breakdown once OP gets back from work.

Also, they add in a 10% extra "conversion" charge or hike up the actual conversion rate 10%, so the only thing you save not using a shopping service is the shipping fees from FS to the SS.

It goes by weight, however, if you use ems, I believe their base fee is $24. For a smaller item you can use airmail so it shouldn't be nearly as bad.

Back from work, sorry for the wait.

It's currently 12:30 AM here on the east coast, and I'm debating whether or not people would like pics of the rest of the wigs?

I wanted to take some of natural light; is anyone still interested in them at this time or should I wait until tomorrow?

Ah, well I'm doing a group order from LUCAILLE soon for AB so hit me up on anything you need.

Anons: I spend my spare time on taobao looking up wigs and most sellers will say something along the lines of "shipping oustide of country". I try my best to find sellers that DO say "to the United States" specifically, but it's rather hard at times.

I also like to test the waters and find gorgeous wigs and ask sellers *using a translator* if they ship outside of China.

As for other sellers, I'm currently waiting for my taobao pages to load up; I have a translator add-on that freezes up every now and then.

Taobao isn't exactly the healthiest thing for my laptop as it has to translate so much chinese to english.

The way this seller works is that you email her the link of the wig you would like. You can ask for calculations to get it shipped to you by your zipcode; I personally ask for something a little quicker since I don't like waiting. Ask for price ranges for whatever way you would like it shipped; she offers anything from EMS to DHL and etc. She will then tell you how much it would cost for that particular order you are placing.

How did I find this particular seller? My friend Jasmine found Lucaille; she and I spend time finding ebay wig sellers on taobao and compare them to the seller. I like to match up taobao sites to their matching seller and see how they raise prices and such.

Fantasy Sheep doubles, triples, and sometimes even QUADRUPLES her prices on wigs.

Also, I spend a lot of time on taobao and google translate the page to see if the sellers ships outside of China. Some sellers post it in plain english on their front page, others you have to hunt around for.

As I mentioned before, do NOT use a yahoo account to email taobao sellers; it goes to their spam boxes.

As for how long it takes? it can be anywhere from an hour to a week. Depends on the day.

I highly recommend using a translating site for her page; she will say in the description of the wig if it is out of stock: Here's page one from newest additions to oldest wigs on her site:

With taobao sites, it's important to remember this:
the number of items + positive feedback is shown on top of each page represented by hearts, diamons, silver crowns and gold crowns

To my understanding:
gold crowns = the best
Hearts = new shops, be wary of these unless you have heard others with good experiences.

Gold crowns > silver crowns > diamonds > hearts

It can mean different things.

It's two AM here and I promised myself I'd be in bed by one so I can't post pics tonight... I'll definitely have them up in the morning. I'll do some test shots of the wefts and what not so you can see how thick it is, and I'll test the wigs on myself so you can see what they would look like on a person instead of just a wig head.

From what I believe, there isn't a minimum but you should understand that shipping to another country isn't cheap. So it might be better to do a group order with friends/whatever to split costs... or buy more than one wig.

I'm getting wrapped up in my blankets, so excuse me if I fall asleep. It was inventory today and I spent 6 hours counting and I think I'm seeing numbers now.

NO shiny-ness in these wigs whatsoever. The pictures may reflect it, but they don't.
:/ Looks like I'm getting called into work early so I can't upload photos until afterwards. I can answer questions though as I run around trying to figure out what to wear. I also just got back from Katsucon and can't find a wig cap worth beans so I'm going to have to buy one for picture taking

I would give this wig a B; it's a generic grey wig and since I have an unhealthy obsession with Katekyo hitman reborn, I already own several grey wigs. (one from jennifer cosplay and another from CCkids) It just seems like that, a generic grey wig.

Natural lighting doesn't pick up as much of the blue.

Taobao stores are uncharted territory so far but based on stores that have extended ebay stores, Clarissa KIDS, and Fantasy Sheep have decent wigs. They do jack up the price however in their ebay catalog/storefronts.

Evaluation: I have really poofy thick hair; to the point I sometimes wear two wig caps to keep all of my hair in. I have difficulty with wigs from China since my head is big and my hair is big: they tend to run too small.

This wig fits PERFECTLY. I have the straps on the farthest... inside part, and it fits gorgeously. It's not too tight and works well

I naturally have a widows peak so that's a little a hard to cover in wigs. This particular picture shows the natural styling. It looks and feels very soft and airy.

I like that it's naturally wispy and I don't have to worry so much about minor detailing and little curls/waves that she flips out in the show.

Yes, that sort of orange exactly! I would want probably two longer wigs and one shorter one... I'd even go in for a shopping service just to combine packages from multiple sellers, so I'm just looking for reliable sellers that sell both short straight and long wavy wigs in the same color of orange fiber, preferably heat-resist. I'm currently taking down some ideas and thoughts from those around me. There is currently the idea of a group order before Anime Boston.

My only problem is that ... I don't want to sound really greedy and say OK IM CHARGING YOU ALL MONEY SO I CAN HAVE A CUT, but I don't want to do it for FREE you know?

Maybe everyone chip in like... a quarter or two my way? Does that sound greedy?

Of course I'd have it set up so that:
a. the customer would pay for their own wig
b. they would pay for a cut cost of the shipping *done equally per person/per wig*
c. pay for shipping costs from my house to their house
d. the paypal fee when money is sent to my paypal

... does a quarter or two sound bad? D: I would feel guilty.

For any anons, yes I'm currently thinking of doing a group order sometime between now and March 15th (as a possible cutoff) from Lucaille and mabye even one from Fantasy Sheep.

Fantasy sheep, as of late, has been very slow with her replies with everything going on in her ebay account so I wouldn't rely too much on her.

For those of you who also were looking at COSPLAY from taobao: I have started searching for sellers that would possibly ship straight to the US/other countries. This was done for a group cosplay I'm doing with friends so that we could all be consistent. I was able to find some, however, I'm still looking for more. Would people be interested in something like this as well? Even for props?

Natural looking wigs, I'm searching, but it's rather hard because there are so many KAWAII UGUU~ shops

I think if you choose to do this, weekly is way too much. I think the demand will dwindle over time so maybe you should do a biweekly or even monthly order.
