>>4391750Yes it's possible. I look good in the mirror or in person but when someone takes a picture of me, I look so strange and awkward, especially in candid photos. However, in webcam photos (low res), I don't look that bad.
>>4391791-Try having some sort of prop. It increases your ease of posing by a LOT. At a con I was Elsie from TWGOK and didn't have a broom for the first day and I couldn't for the life of me think of not-stupid poses. The next day I brought a psp and posing/expressions were so much easier. Weapons = godly. If your character holds a book, or has a wand, glasses, teacup, whatever, bring one!
-Don't stand there with your arms hanging to the side, do something with them, even if it's something generic like your hand on your hip (better than nothing)
-3/4 rule - you look better when you're tilted to the side a bit at a 3/4 angle than front on
-Having a friend from the same series cosplaying with you helps, you can do character interaction poses that way
