My Terran Marine Cosplay, Made out of paper(pepakura),fiberglass, and bondo.

1. I would like to know what you think
2. How to improve on materials(lighter, easier to work with(if any))

My wife and I worked on this suit for 4 months,this is our first costume we worked together and i've never used bondo or had to sand it before(yes it shows) and we never painted anything like it but we had someone show us how and did our best but how could we improve as in what paints or technique could we use to give it metalic shine but a gritty damaged finish etc. i figured i was already on 4chan and getting i'd add this so i can keep track of the comments/tips.
