Okay, so, I want to go to my first cosplay con this year, I may or may not go in costume. However, I have a few things I'm afraid of.

-Being touched/glomped/etc.
-Breaking cosplay etiquette I have no idea of.
-Being awkward amongst groups/going near claustrophobic in large crowds. This is why I don't like large cities.
-General safety being a young woman, who to trust and who not to trust.

So, veterans, please help me out with throwing some tips and common rules here if you can, please, I'll be very thankful.
