Hey CGL,
What is your opinion on height?
I know I personally, am very self conscious about my height because I am fairly tall for a girl. I wish I was shorter because it would make cosplaying easier

But in the same sense, I love seeing beautiful tall girls cosplaying at cons.

What is your ideal height?

I've been 5'8 since I was 15. When I was younger, I hated it, because I was taller or the same height as every guy I knew. Now that I'm well into my 20s, I love my height. I wouldn't want to be any taller or shorter.

I'm considered a bit tall in my group too except for these two girls that come to mind, they pretty much tower over every one though. It gets a little bit sad for them when they want to cosplay cute girls that aren't that tall, especially in groups, really looks odd.

I'm 5'10 and it doesn't really bother me since I usually tend to cosplay more mature characters or ones that look older than their age. I would never ever cosplay as a moe character or someone who's supposed to be young (like Sasami Jurai) since that'd look hella stupid.

At Sakuracon we found a Scanty and Kneesocks who were our height, too, pic related.

Actually I think super tall cosplay girls are super attractive. Like the characters being cosplayed are larger than life, so when a super tall girl cosplays I always think they look amazing.

I'm taller than most of my female friends, and shorter than most of my guy friends. Boyfriend is 6'1'' so it's a nice little difference ^___^

Definitely comes in handy for cosplay. My first and favourite is Sailor Jupiter so it made sense for me to cosplay her. :D

If I'm doing a group cosplay I'll assign myself to the tallest character so I won't look out of place with everyone else, but if I'm cosplaying on my own for fun I'll still dress as the characters I love. Photos can somewhat mask my height even if I might look odd walking around the con in person.

As for the topic of height, people just need to try to take advantage of it and use it. For example, if you're short like me, cosplay as younger characters.
