Let's say that I want to make lolita garments and sell them. Let's also say that I think classic is the best substyle to try to do this in and assume I can sew.

Before I try to get people to commission me, I think it would a good idea to make a few things and try to sell them. Let's say I have a good idea about what cuts to use and what items I want to make, but am unsure about colors.

Are there any colors that you think would sell better than others, generally? Brown? Black? My guess would be a mid-brown, but I'm pretty bad at guessing.
