I'm thinking about buying a wig now, even tho the con isn't until november. I just wanna have everything so I don't have to do anything in the last minute

I feel a hotpink wig would be too 'fake', if you get me. I've been stalking a few cosplays of Nyu/Lucy and it just looks so cheap to use a hotpink wig.

Would it be acceptable to use a wig in this color (picture)? Or should I go for hotpink, if so any advice on choosing a hotpink wig, that isn't all that cheepsy looking?

Heads up about that wig - I just got one from them in the mail today. Different color, same length/style. It's SUPER soft and a decent thickness, but tangles like crazy. The color is a little off from the picture, too. My picture showed a reddish brown, but I got a milky brown.

(unless you're super pale..but sometime it doesn't work either) It's nice that you want color accuracy, but you should be looking for wigs that will suit you when you wear it. Not everyone can look like animu characters. When I choose a wig, I keep in mind about my skintone and how the wig would look in photos(because almost always, the color in photos will be more saturated after re-touching)
I recommend long wigs from Epic Cosplay, because they don't tangle easily(if at all), and you can comb through them with ease.
