So, I'm thinking about cosplaying a character from the card game in the pic, and it has me wondering a bit about the different sources of characters people cosplay. The most popular sources are anime, manga, and video games, sure. Books get done a lot too, although not tons at anime conventions from what I've seen. (And non-anime TV shows, of course, but again, usually tends to be different conventions.) You get some mascots and things, I suppose. I don't think I've seen anyone cosplay from a board or card game before, unless you count stuff like Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh I guess.

Have you guys seen cosplays from unusual sources? What did/would you think of it?
