I have a friend whose considering this costume (Far right, don't want to do the cop out one on the left) and asked me for some tips on how to make this.

I'm wondering what fabric would go well this this. Clearly I'll have to tell her to get a zentai suit and sew parts on it.

TL;DR What fabric, any pointers to make my life easier, and any tutorials?
