This is the first time I've visited this board, and I came here for some advice. I'm frequent /vp/ and /co/ and, after hearing about how a ton of my friends from those boards cosplay, have been wanting to try it myself. I've been considering a few ideas for a cosplay:

-A male Volcarona ginjika
-Mega Man
-Chrono from Chrono Trigger

Whom would you suggest and how would you do it?

Then go as Chrono? Because fuck if gijinka isn't fail 9 times out of 10. And if you have objections on Chrono too, then why bother asking to choose because you've obviously made up your mind to be a furry and you might as well have jumped straight to the "how do I do this" question.

I vote Volcarona gijinka, but if you do, go all-out. I've seen some really great ones that are so intricate and amazing, but I haven't got them saved to my computer.

Then again, such an intricate cosplay might not be a good idea for a first-time cosplayer... how experienced are your friends?

Also, I'm friends with the tripfag Raticate from here, and she said that (so long as I paid) she'd be willing to help me construct a costume.
