Yes, humans living in caves probably wanted women with wide hips just so they wouldn't die as often in childbirth, but there is no evidence that suggests FAT women were considered beautiful.
For the record, I'm a healthy weight, am athletic in build and have very, very wide hips, so I might have been considered attractive to ancient man, but I see no evidence to suggest a hambeast would have been sought after over me.
