>>4408359I'll start with a few things.
One, and I know this might be confusing since we're never really consistent with this, but there used to be an unspoken rule that you don't create a thread entirely for yourself (or in your case, your gf). You post in a "who should I cosplay as" thread, with your level of skill and whatnot. People tend to break this rule if someone is really attractive, but it's still annoying.
Two, don't ever point out what kind of hair a person has. It doesn't matter because you're buying a wig. You always buy a wig unless you know what you're doing. You may think that's over the top, but this is a board devoted to cosplay. Of course we take it a bit seriously.
Three, planning a cosplay less than a month before a con is...ergh, you'd have to see us during the month of October to get how much we hate that. Look at other threads for future cons and not how people say things like "Holy shit, ____ is in three months and I haven't even started on my costumes!" When you have people start the "hey, what can I slap together over the weekend" I dunno, it kind degrades (lol, as if dressing up as chinese cartoons is degrading enough) all the hard work we put into it. Also, you should probably not admit to being from /b/ on any board because it's not something to be proud of.
That's pretty much it. Your friend kind of looks like Belle from Beauty and the Beast, so I'm sure she could get a long blue jumperskirt, white blouse, and apron together, and (even though we'd much prefer you did) she wouldn't really need a wig. Most people who aren't fags don't care if you aren't cosplaying anime at an anime con. She'd have to make up those freckles, lose the glasses, and invest in some teeth whitener, but it would be fine.
