I know there're soooo many cute ones like melty chocolate from AP, but I'll be wearing these to work...

Erm....I don't think it's really practical to wear lolita in a coffee shop. I mean, it sounds romantic and all, but isn't being a barista a dirty job? Then again, I probably shouldn't judge too quickly. It's just that any job involving food (unless you're in accounting?) is probably too much for lolita - off brand or not.

I worked at a coffee shop and I really wouldn't recommend wearing Lolita. You're on your feet all day, it's messy, it's tiring, etc. It sounds cute and all but it's so impractical. You won't be able to wear a petticoat either since you'll just be knocking things over all day.

Pretty much this. I've worked as a barista for 5 years, and you're just going to get milk, coffee grind and food all over it. Save it for when you're not working, and just wear something that's practical. Not to mention that most places I've been at have preferred staff to wear pants too.

Besides, don't most place require some kind of uniform/dress code? Sorry to shoot down your dreams OP, but hey, look at it this way. When you get the money from your work and with the fact that you're out of lolita most of the week, dressing up is more special.
