>>4892867Personally I really, really like the baggy look, when done right. Some opinions about the style:
- Fabrics matter a whole lot. Stiff, thick fabrics retain their shape and make you look hueg -- this applies for tops especially but pants as well. Look for fabrics that drape or are more flowing: worn-in tees, thin blouses, etc. The exception to the rule are some sweater tops or sweatshirts, but these absolutely need to be more fitted than the gauzier tops.
- For a loose top, you want your legs to appear as thin as possible -- I think this look gives the impression that you're a small girl in an oversized shirt/top, so you have to strategically reveal the legs (or otherwise show off your body's actual size) so you don't look bigger than you are. Tights, skirts, tight jeans, short shorts and leggings all will work for this.
- This look works really well with soft hats (beanies and ski caps, especially loose ones.) Not really necessary but a nice touch.
- Works well with boots or chunky shoes, but not strictly necessary.
