Anyway, you are doing running already so carbs are very important.
Try to eat 0.25g of carbs for every 1lb of bodyweight about 1 hour- 30 minutes before a run for max energy.
Try to eat about 1g per lb of bodyweight a day.
Start doing a convict conditioning programme. You can get a copy of it on /rs/.
It is generally all bodyweight exercises and sounds like it will give you what you want to get. I done it for about 4 weeks mixed with running every day and the results were astounding.
The most important thing is diet and hard work. You don't need supplements or anything.
