Sup /ck/. I don't post here much, but I have worked out a nice, quick, easy, delicious meal.
Ingredients:
Frozen chicken
Dave's Gourmet Roasted Garlic Hot Sauce (pic related)
Cajun seasoning (I used tony chachere's)
Chicken grilling seasoning (I use a Kroger brand)
Cracked Chili's
Water
I put the frozen chicken I want to use in a non-stick frying pan, cover it about halfway with water, and add in all the seasonings to taste (I like it spicy). Basically boil the chicken in a mix of spices. When the chicken is done cooking, remove it, then up the heat and boil the liquid you cooked it in down till it becomes a slightly thicker liquid.
Voila, cooked with no added oil, and a very delicious sauce. The stuff I made tonight I mixed with some peas, and it turned out very good.
I think you could probably try the same style of cooking with another mix of spices in the water, like teriyaki or curry. I will have to experiment further and report if others are interested. I first tried this as a way to actually use the Dave's sauce in an actual dish.
