What makes classic French omelettes so hard is balancing a cooked, uncharred outside, but maintaining a custardy inside. Also, your camera sucks. There's no color, which inherently makes your eggs look worse than they probably are.
IMO, I think cracking the pepper on the inside while it cooks ends up with a better presentation so your omelette isn't all speckly.
All in all, though, I'm sure it tasted damn good.
