The DANK beer-batter
1 part beer (drop top, blue moon, something quality but not too heavy)
1 part flour
(12oz. beer = about a cup of flour. should have the consistency of runny pancake batter without the chunks)
1 tsp. paprika
.5 tbs johnny's
splash of oyster sauce
salt to taste
stir that shit up until it's all combined and there are no chunks. toss it in the fridge for an hour, uncovered. re-stir it.
you can batter just about anything. I like cutting up like 3/4 inch cubes of chicken breast, dunk it in the batter, deep fry. onion rings are fucking amazing with this stuff (don't use white onions).
it only keeps for about a
day.it'll get kinda stale and funky, even when deep fried
