I never really buy fish or seafood but I came across a mexican fish market. As I walked by I could smell the fish being cooked, smelled really good.

The thing is I'm curious about the price of seafood, I know it varies by region (I'm in so cal). I want to know if I am getting a good deal or not. Not charged extra because im a clueless or because im a nonmexican foreigner/gringo.

I'm just looking for a crash course in what I should expect to pay per lb for some popular fishmeats.
