Something for any Bourdain starfuckers: While watching the new episode of Treme (which starts the 2nd season), I was surprised to see co-writing credits go to Bourdain. I have to assume he was limited to the "restaurant parts", and they seemed to be having fun with the typical "New York kitchen faux brutality" in his typical style. In the previews for next week, the lady cook is alerted to a GQ panning of New Orleans, which has got to be Bourdain referencing the start of his drawn out battle with GQ food critic Alan Richman regarding that critique (In Bourdain's "Medium Raw", he's got a whole chapter about him entitled "Alan Richman Is a Douchebag"). Makes me wonder how long, and how deep, Bourdain will be associated with the series.
Protip: Alan is Adam Richman's dad, the bootlicking mongoloid on Man vs. Food who's "had every job in the food business".
