Hey guys,

So I'm pretty new to cooking, but trying my best. Yesterday I made fish tacos. For sauce I mixed cole slaw mix, salsa and a little sour cream and that came out pretty good, although in the future I might make my own salsa. For fish I bought some tilapia fillets, sprinkled chili powder on both sides and fried them on skillet with vegetable oil. It wasn't bad, but I feel like there is something missing. Looking online it seems like some think tilapia is just too bland of a fish (vs Mahi Mahi, etc.) and won't ever get flavorful, but I find that hard to believe. Does anyone know any seasonings or ways to make this better? Any other relevant ideas would be appreciated.
