also, carbonara is super not healthy (but it is tasty enough to make up for it).
i suggest a simple garlic and olive oil sauce. this pairs well with gewurztraminer. for a pound of your spaghetti:
# 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
# 4-6 garlic cloves, peeled & chopped
# 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
# Freshly ground pepper
# crushed red pepper (optional)
sautee the garlic in the oil. when the garlic is ready (you'll smell it), remove the pan from heat and add 3/4 of the parsley and pepper. add your pasta and toss. top with remaining parsley.
