Share with me your hummus, and let hummus make the world a better place.
Greek yogurt or tahinni?
What additional seasonings?
Do you cook your chick peas first?
I cook my chick peas on the stove in their own juice+half of a can of water, heated on high until boiling, then turned down for ten to fifteen minutes
Then I blend the chickpeas, adding a little bit of the juice from the pot (no more than 1/4 cup ever). Then I blend in four table spoons of lemon juice, and four table spoons of Extra virgin Olive oil, a teaspoon of coarse salt, dash of pepper, and two to three tablespoons of tahinni. When everything is blended, I empty it into a tupperware and stir in a larger non-exact ammount of Cumin, Sumac, and parsley. I like eating it warm or cold.
