Usually I add: Scrambled egg, or drop an egg in before eating. Spam, vienna sausages, regular/italian sausage, leftover chicken or fish, steamed pressed fish cake.
and/or any combination of veggies:
cabbage, leafy greens, green beans, mung bean sprouts, broccoli, any veggies I mean have left over from a previous meal.
Sometimes I leave out the flavor packet and make my own with hondashi, soy sauce, garlic, or any of the various sauces I might have in my fridge like sweet and spicy thai sauce.
Sometimes I cook it, fry it in a skillet with oil, and use the packet to make yakisoba with cabbage or bean sprouts.
