There are cacti growing in my backyard... but they are fucking gross. The mucus is fucking nasty. I asked my mexican neighbor how to cook them, and she said that "not even coyotes are dumb enough to eat that shit"
I read in the internets that to get rid of the mucus you have to boil them like 3 times, and so I did. I prepared some chili and threw them nopales in there.

tl;dr: I have cactus, how do I cook it so it isn't nasty?
