You know what, I can actually deal with that, even though it's bullshit, seeing as the menu doesn't specify how many chips you'll get. But if it says that a gourmet burger comes with 6 onion rings then I want 6 fucking onion rings, because that's what I've been led to believe I'm buying. I arrived in Aberystwyth on my second day in the UK and was STARVING, so I insisted to my boyfriend that we just eat there. I've started to hate how much gamble choosing a place to eat can be when on move unless you stick to some franchise business model places, even then the differences can be significant.

If a restaurant does shit to a regular acting person, or any fucking person really.. its a really unprofessional restaurant.. Avoid it.. be smart. No need to argue, just avoid the shit hole. As if you need to go into a place beating your fucking chest like vanilla ice just to get fair service. This world is presently douch-ey enough.. its a shit hole. Now we have fucking restaurant douchebags who act like tommy DeLamota.. with a toothpick hanging out of their mouth talking like joe pesci. I've never had this problem with Wetherspoons. Overcooked, cold, too few chips yes, but nothing obvious missing. The tartar suace they have is terrible too, but I always get a shit ton of scampi so it is ok.

Wetherspoons are hit an miss but my local one does really good food considering. The ingredients are what you'd expect for the price but it's always cooked properly.
And the breakfasts are awesome, pint of ale and a fry up is the best thing after a night out.
They even do a good blue steak when steak club is on. Currys are pretty standard pub curry, I've yet to try much else.

Some are fucking shit tier though, I've had ones who do this leaving shit out thing but as soon as you complain they actually give you extras to compensate. I had a tomato missing from a breakfast they sent out a few tomatos and some extra hash browns.

Since it's more than one location, it's a kitchen issue, but if the waitstaff isn't doing their job to ask "need anything?" then it's a training problem and your tip should reflect the fact you weren't given the opportunity to have things rectified.

This is assuming you have a country where employees do their job better knowing they need good tips.
