I have three bratwurst. I was looking through some recipes and saw "bangers and mash".

I recall that /ck/ went apeshit over this awhile back. Some think it's the perfect hangover food, others say it's European filth.

Anyways, as I see it, it's just some fucking sausages and mashed potatoes with gravy. I'm an American and live in the South and that's pretty close to what I eat on a semi-regular basis.

I know how to cook sausages and make mashed potatoes. I also know how to caramelize onion and make a brown gravy.

Seems pretty standard. Any tips, tricks, suggestions, comments, insults, etc.?
