Hey /ck/, what is the most disgusting (in terms of what it's made from) food from your cultural backrounds? Pic related, ring bologna is consumed en masse by the PA Dutch, it's made of HEARTS and incased in INTESTINES. Still delicious though.

Provencal/American here. Off the top of my head I'd say boudin noir. Blood sausage. It was like eating a semi hardened scab, and look like loose stools. Only thing I had in France that I didn't like. Snails are delicious though.

Are you referring to Asian cultures?

I'm Chinese and believe me that's not the most disgusting thing. In fact if I listed them all I would probably kill this thread. But here are some: baby mice wine, bee larvae, snake blood (well these originated in different parts of China but my family lives in Taiwan now so they get to sample everything from everywhere)
