Im having trouble with my fried rice, ive done everything from straining the rice to get rid of nearly all the starch, using different sauces such as fish sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, but to no avail all my fried rice always ends up having no flavor.... not sure why, i add salt, pepper, my normal recipe is
1. stir fry oil
2. let it heat up in wok
3. add minced garlic
4.add rice( thats been left in fridge for a day or more
5.stir fry the rice for about 3 minutes
6. make well in center and add lightly cooked eggs
7.stir fry egg and rice
8. add soy sauce, stir
9. add fish sauce,stir
10. add about 3 pinches of sugar
and thats about it but its still tasteless , so yeah post your fried rice recipes.
