Has anyone seen this movie? How would you rank it against other animated films of this sort? Owlman was epic, are there any street levelers in DC/Marvel that could take him on? Discuss!

Owl man was awesome, but there was too much fighting and superman clones.

the best DC animated movie IMO is under the Red Hood.

But my taste in Batman is mainstream, I don't read the comics.

If you like this, and you haven't seen Justice League Unlimited you might want to check it out. Dwayne Mcduffy was the head writer and wrote, what I think, is some of the best DCU related stuff ever.

like you said, Owlman was a really interesting part of this movie. I was kind of expecting Batman to shoot off Owlman's mask during the final battle and reveal an AU version of Bruce Wayne (this is the monster you could have become), but it didn't happen. Overall I enjoyed it, and would definitely recommend it for a watch.

It's really really good, give it a shot.

It's surprisingly different from the comic though, but I'd rank the movie over the comic, I mean the comic was great and explored the concept of Commissioner Gordon, but the ending and resolution was kinda sucky in the comic, and the movie does a much greater job of that.
